Dr Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury is an internationally acclaimed Indian Medical Nutritionist and Diabetes Specialist. He was born on July 23, 1973, in Haryana, India. At the age of four, he underwent surgery to repair a hole in his heart.
Dr. Chowdhury studied Production Engineering at Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh. Later, he focused on nutrition and health. Consequently, he earned a PhD in Diabetes from the Alliance International University in Zambia. He is best known for developing the DIP Diet, a 3-Step Protocol that claims to reverse diabetes in just 72 hours. Moreover, his approach helps with hypertension, obesity, bone diseases, and chronic kidney diseases.
Dr. Chowdhury has written 33 books. His most famous book, “Diabetes Cure in 72 hours”, is published in various languages. Furthermore, he received the Innovation Award in 2024 for his gravity and heat-based invention, the GRAD system, which aims to reverse chronic kidney diseases.
Dr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury holds several Guinness World Records. For instance, he memorized 14 names with birthdates in less than two minutes and performed 198 push-ups in a minute. However, he has faced criticism and controversy for his unconventional medical claims, especially about COVID-19. Critics accuse him of spreading misinformation and pseudoscience.
In 2005, Dr. Chowdhury ventured into Bollywood with a role in the film “Yaad Rakhenge Aap.” However, his acting career did not last long. Instead, he runs medical centres in India, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Switzerland, promoting his methods and helping people lead healthier lives.
